Radzimir Dębski, better known by his artist name JIMEK, is a composer, conductor and one of Poland's best known music artists. A third generation composer, JIMEK was born into a family of musicians and studied classical composition at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, (the same school Chopin attended 200 years ago) where he graduated with a master’s degree in composition. He then studied orchestration and film scoring at UCLA.
POLISH HIP HOP HISTORY
In June 2022 JIMEK orchestrated a tribute to Polish Hip Hop throughout the years featuring 30 guest rappers to a crowd of 27k at Warsaw Bemowo Airport.
HIP HOP HISTORY Vol.1
In 2015 his symphonic orchestration “Hip Hop History” went viral earning him the appreciation of his rap heroes and fans worldwide.

JIMEK’S popularity exploded in 2012 after winning Beyoncé’s End of Time Remix Competition landing him a spot on her album “4: The Remix”.
PORSCHE
A composer with a racing license, JIMEK has been a global ambassador for Porsche for the last 5 years. He has composed and featured in many of their campaigns and also raced GT4.
GHETTO CLASSICS YOUTH ORCHESTRA NAIROBI
A most fulfilling opportunity, JIMEK travelled to Kenya to mentor and conduct a youth workshop with Ghetto Classics, a children’s orchestra from Korogocho.
BRAND COLLABS
JIMEK has appeared in campaigns for Reebok and Technics and scored for some of the biggest brands in Europe such as ORLEN, LOT Polish Airlines. He was asked to compose the musical theme for Channel 1 News, the most watched News on TV in Poland.

JIMEK scored his first film at age 15 and has since gone on to win numerous awards for composition in Film & Television including the Polish Film Academy Award for Best Score for ‘Art of Loving’
